Growing Cooks Workshops
Drop off your eager cooks with us and our experienced leaders will provide them with up to 2 hours of food fun. At each workshop we focus on different dishes and age
appropriate skills, cover some basic food hygiene teaching, and talk about food and where it comes from.
Examples of some scrummy themes include; 'French feasts', 'Pack a picnic' and 'Lets do lunch'.
Growing cooks workshops are run for two separate age groups; 5-8 years and 9-12 years.
For each age group we take up to 12 children with a ratio of one adult to 6 children, so no one gets lost or stuck for help.
The children bring home the dishes they have cooked.

Food Technology Department, St Georges School, Sun Lane, Harpenden, Herts and other venues on occasions |

Drop off at 10:00 am, collect at 12:00 midday or drop off at 2:00 pm, collect at 4:00 pm |

£20 per child for one session for standard 2 hour workshop
