About Us
Hello we're Sarah and Jane

We set up Pattacakes in 1999; running workshops for children. As graduate home economists with young children we knew the importance of developing a positive attitude to food early on. Parents saw how much fun children had at our courses and started asking for cooking parties. Soon we found ourselves busy with parties in homes across the county and working with schools, Scouts, Brownies and charities. Large companies started to hear about us and asked us for help in developing new healthy and tasty food products.
We are now acredited to deliver the national programme set up to train Primary School teachers to teach food at KS1 and KS2.
The appetite for Pattacakes mix of food, fun and learning keeps growing; we now run sessions for grown up cooks as well as little cooks.
We're based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, England. Due to requests from other areas of the country and demands on our time we are now recruiting and training Pattacakes Food Coaches nationally.
Pattacakes sessions are held at your home, in a local hall or a school.
Pattacakes is:
- Fully insured
- A privately owned and run partnership
- Pattacakes leaders are checked with Criminal Records Bureau
